Providing the perfect solution: Hydrocyclones are usually selected on the basis of the cut size/separation requirement and not on the volume to be handled. In other words, a bigger size of the cyclone is not always a solution for handling a larger volume.
In most applications, more than one hydrocyclone are required to be installed. The most critical part of any installation is to distribute the feed uniformly and consistently to all the hydrocyclones.
