Tega Industries Chile has achieved an important milestone in its sustainability journey receiving the HuellaChile Quantification Seal during the 2025 Recognition Ceremony organised by Chile’s Ministry of the Environment. This certification reinforces our commitment to measuring, managing and transparently reporting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all operational areas.

The HuellaChile programme is a national initiative that promotes the quantification, reduction and management of carbon footprints within organisations operating in Chile. Securing the Quantification Seal confirms that Tega Industries Chile has successfully completed a rigorous, Ministry-validated process for developing a verified emissions inventory that meets internationally recognised standards.

A Rigorous and Data-Driven Approach

To obtain the Quantification Seal, our teams conducted an extensive assessment of emissions across production units, administrative facilities and service centres. This process involved the collection and consolidation of data across the three recognised scopes of emissions:

• Scope 1: Direct emissions from fuel consumption at operational sites
• Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased electricity and energy
• Scope 3: Other indirect emissions associated with transport, internal logistics and employee mobility

This comprehensive approach enables us to map our carbon footprint accurately and identify priority areas for emissions reduction, operational efficiency and long-term sustainability planning.
