3”, 4”, 5” Hydrocyclones
|
Tega Hydrocyclones are made of high wear resistant polyurethane and are light in weight. Entire cyclone body consists of moulded polyurethane parts, which are held together by steel plates and stainless steel studs/clamps. Simple and quick release type of clamp system is provided for spigot fixing. Hydrocyclones are available in single units. For larger flow rates , cyclones are supplied in radials, mushrooms or canisters. These forms can accommodate 4 – 60 cyclones depending on the type of radial selected.
Hydrocyclones are mainly used in:
- Thickening of slurry
- Dewatering of Beach sand
- De-sliming of flotation feed
- Clay refining
- Hydrate classification and spent liquor recovery in Alumina refineries De-gritting of china clay
- Classification/thickening of fine coal slurry
- DE sliming/pre-concentration of feed to gravity concentrator/magnetic separator/froth flotation
- Beneficiation of iron ore and chromite slimes

Tega 10” Hydrocylone is made of high wera rsistant polyurethane and is light in weight. The cyclone polyurethane parts are enclosed in stainless steel casing, which are held together by steel plates and stainless steel studs. Simple and quick release type of clamp system is provided for spigot fixing.
Tega 10” Hydrocylones are mainly used in:
- Classification in closed circuit grinding operation.
- Desliming iron ore and chromite fines/slimes.
- Hydrate classification and spent liquor recovery in Alumina refineries.
- De-griting of china clay.
- Dewatering of beach sands.
Tega 10” Hydrocyclones are available in single units and for larger flow rates cyclones are supplied in radials. These radials can accommodate up tp 16 number of cyclones.

15” and 26” Hydrocyclones
|
Tega 15” & 26” Hydrocyclones are made of high wear resistant rubber parts and are housed in mild steel casing. The entire cyclone is divided into different parts, which are held together by simple flanges and quick release type of clamp systems. For 26” cyclone , the larger parts are boiled. Developed for applications involving heavy duty coarse seperations, this robust new range is ideal for miling circuits and classification in high density pulp streams. The design is based upon the highly successful range of Tega hydrocyclones and incorporates tangential feed entry with spiral ramping to minimize turbulance and maximize top-end separation efficiency. Extremely durable, the contsruction also ensures exceptional wear life in the all-important inlet region. Designed for ease in maintenance, Tega Large Diameter Hydrocyclones are constructed from mild steel with replaceable rubber liners.
Advantages:
- High capacity – Unique design delivers significantly higher capacity. Hence fewer cyclones are needed to treat a given flow-rate.
- Robust – Unique entry design maximizes wear life.
- Efficient – Construction maximizestop-end separation performance.
- Convenient – Easily replaceable rubber liners- minimizes downtime.
