Tega Industries Peru has secured a new contract involving the supply and installation of the DynaPrime hybrid coating technology. This innovative product is slated for installation in a 24-foot diameter mill within a significant copper operation situated in the Ica region.
Víctor Ruiz, the Commercial Manager of Tega Industries in Peru, emphasized the benefits of this technology, noting that the client will benefit from a customized coating with reduced weight and increased durability. These features contribute to prolonged mill operating time and lower energy consumption, accompanied by elevated safety standards.
Ruiz highlighted that the client selected Tega due to the company's expertise in handling intricate Peruvian operations related to coating design and installation. Following a thorough evaluation period, Tega's specialists conducted extensive engineering inspections to support the most optimal technical proposal, incorporating added value.
The evaluation process involved the deployment of a specialist team by Tega to define the optimal design, with an additional specialist providing immediate support throughout the project. Furthermore, a virtual reality analysis system was implemented to assess the ball mill's behaviour and simulate its performance, ensuring the proposal for the hybrid lining's design was the most effective.
As a result of this successful collaboration, Tega will exclusively supply the mining operation, reinforcing its position as a key player in the Peruvian market.
